Job Description
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for all accounting functions of the Behavioral Health Crisis Center and other areas as assigned, including preparing month-end close, program billings, budgets, and financial analysis.

Requirements

  • BS in Accounting or equivalent from an accredited university
  • 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience and responsibilities
  • Strong full cycle accounting and analytical skills required
  • Nonprofit organization experience highly desired
  • Public accounting audit experience a plus
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with MS Office suite
  • Knowledgeable in GAAP
  • Experience with federal funds, grants, and functional expense reporting as well as requirements for reportable charities
  • Experience with allocation of costs and expenses to reportable units
