Senior Staff Accountant

The Senior Staff Accountant will play a key role in the Corporate Finance Team, applying advanced accounting principles to maintain accurate records, analyze financial data, and provide valuable insights to leadership. This role requires a seasoned accounting professional with experience in financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and budgeting.

What You Will Do

Maintain and oversee the company's fixed asset accounting processes, manage lease accounting activities, coordinate with internal stakeholders, support annual audits, prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules, analyze general ledger activity, and produce financial reports.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including fixed asset accounting and/or lease accounting requirements (ASC 842)
• Experience preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and complex formulas
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and present financial information to management
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
