Job Description
As a Senior Staff Field Applications Engineer (FAE) at Renesas, you will play a major role in expanding our market-leading digital products, providing outstanding application engineering support to customers, and defining the next generation of Renesas Automotive Products. You will work closely with customer engineering teams and internal technical marketing and applications teams.

Requirements

  • Drive design-in activities of the complete product portfolio in automotive applications
  • Define new products in close cooperation with customers and internal technical marketing and applications teams
  • Act as a technical interface and consult customers during development of all automotive applications
  • Derive customer system requirements and market trends to develop system value propositions
  • Build a good understanding of different product architectures and partner ecosystem
  • Actively manage projects with Sales and Marketing departments to achieve design-in targets
  • Establish and maintain excellent relationships with customer engineering departments
  • Proactively connect with global cross-functional teams and share experience to drive global business expansion
  • Lead technical discussions with System Architects and Application Engineering experts to jointly define application roadmaps and product technical requirements
  • Collaborate internally and externally to develop documentation and system demonstrators
