Job Description
UT Southwestern is seeking a Senior Staff Veterinarian to provide medical and surgical care for research animals, coordinate health assessments, and represent the Animal Resources Center Director in their absence. The ideal candidate will have a DVM or VMD degree, 3-5 years of veterinary experience, and ACLAM board certification preferred.

Requirements

  • DVM or VMD degree from Accredited Veterinarian Medical Association school
  • Completion of 2-3 year postdoctoral training program in laboratory animal medicine
  • 3-5 years related veterinary experience
  • Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the United States
  • American College of Laboratory Animal Medicine (ACLAM) diplomat preferred
