Role Overview

As a Senior Stormwater Project Manager at HDR, you will lead and coordinate work on large multidiscipline projects, establish and maintain client relations, and provide senior technical direction to multidisciplinary teams. You will work on stormwater planning, design, modeling, permitting, and construction support services, and lead hydrologic and hydraulic analyses. You will also supervise large project staffs and act as a mentor for less-experienced Project Managers.

What You Will Do

Direct and coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams, produce and coordinate several projects concurrently, establish and maintain client relations, conduct work sessions for deliverable development, coordinate staffing and workload, track financial aspects of projects, and implement QA/QC procedures.

Why It Might Be a Fit

This role requires a Master's degree, PMP certification, and 10 or more years of progressive stormwater engineering experience. You should have demonstrated experience applying Washington State, local agency, and Department of Transportation stormwater requirements to drainage design, flow control, water quality treatment, green stormwater infrastructure, low impact development, permitting, and agency review comments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 10 years related experience
  • A minimum 5 years project management experience
  • Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered
  • MS Office and MS Project experience
  • Demonstrated leadership, business development and strategic planning skills
