Job Description
Ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of in-house information systems. Monitor, maintain, support, and optimize networked software and operating systems. Plan, test, and implement upgrades, and perform scripting or automation tasks to increase efficiency.
Requirements
A Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or a related field.
Systems Administration experience (5-10 years preferred).
Scripting experience.
Experience with VMware. Experience and certifications with VMware Horizon (VDI) is preferred.
Comfortable working with various operating systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Background must demonstrate the ability to take ownership in troubleshooting and solving issues.
Must demonstrate the ability to operate effectively within a complex, dynamic environment.
Demonstrate the ability to perform testing, implementation, and documentation for projects.
TCP/IP & DNS experience.
Experience troubleshooting & resolving help desk requests.
Experience troubleshooting network connectivity and cabling issues.
