Role OverviewThis position supports the NASA Space Launch System (SLS) Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) labs at Marshall Space Flight center in Huntsville Alabama. The HWIL labs include the System Integration and Test Facility (SITF), Systems Integration Laboratory (SIL), and multiple Software Development Facilities (SDFs) used to verify the integrated avionics and software systems for the SLS rocket. The position is responsible for providing services and support for the Software Systems Engineering Branch (ES51).
What You Will Do
Provide services and support for the Software Systems Engineering Branch (ES51), design and execute analysis plans from executed test data of HWIL simulation systems, write technical documents including analysis plans and reports to address verification requirements, evaluate test data to correlate with test findings and investigate potential anomalies.

Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen and have a STAR ID.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related STEM field is required.
- Must have at least 5 years of applicable experience.
- Good project management skills are needed to define and plan the activities.
- Problem solving, debug, and hands-on use of test and analysis equipment will be required.
