Role OverviewThis opportunity resides with Uncrewed Systems (UxS), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will assist in the detailed design, integration, and testing of new unmanned systems vehicles. Tasking will include supporting UUV operations, customer outreach and field support, requirements analysis and management, functional analysis, performance analysis, system design, trade studies, verification and validation, systems integration and test, and system sustainment.
What You Will Do
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

Requirements
- 15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field
- 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field
- 10 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance
- Ability to travel 20% with potential surges to 60%
