Role Overview

The Systems Engineer analyzes user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications. This role provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology, incorporates new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations, and develops technical and system architecture documentation.

What You Will Do

Analyze user requirements, lead design and development activities, guide users in formulating requirements, advise alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies. Develop technical documentation, guide system development and implementation planning, interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations, and ensure technical integrity of work performed and deliverables.

The ideal candidate will have 14 years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity, and a Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.

Requirements

  • Fourteen (14) years' experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience with Linux, VMware vSphere, Cisco NXOS, IOS or ACI, NetApp storage, and Puppet.
  • Ability to contribute to development of systems engineering documentation, manage system requirements, and participate in Integrated Product Teams.
