Role OverviewThe Senior Systems Engineer will lead multidisciplinary engineering activities, manage budgets, and support proposal and change management activities for engineering. The role is responsible for all Electro-Optic Imaging Systems Definition, Architecture, Integration, product Verification & Validation along with program and project technical implementation to cost and schedule.
What You Will Do
Work with the Program Chief Engineer, Lead Systems Engineer, and Integrated Program Team Lead to ensure products meet cost, schedule, technical quality, and performance requirements. Provide systems engineering leadership for RVS EO/IR, focal plane array programs, and collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Requirements
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience with airborne and space electro-optical and infrared (EO/IR) surveillance and targeting sensor systems
- System experience with hands on experience in the design, analysis, development, troubleshooting, and testing
- Experience creating analytical models and scripting for data analysis (MATLAB preferred)
- Earned Value Management, EVMS Certification
- ROIC wafer probing, fabrication, integration, verification, and validation for a complex EO/IR system
