Role OverviewThis role will be within the R&T department as part of the Engineering organization conducting research and development of primarily but not limited to Composite technologies based in Riverside, CA. The role will lead and support the development of technologies in adherence with TRL and MRL toll gates. Working closely with Engineers and Engineering Technicians, supporting daily process development.
What You Will Do
Lead and support the development of technologies in adherence with TRL and MRL toll gates. Working closely with Engineers and Engineering Technicians, supporting daily process development. Interacting between Engineering groups (programs, chief office engineer, aftermarket, manufacturing/operations, facilities, supply chain, test labs, suppliers and customers); ensuring on-time and quality execution of materials & process project tasks and deliverables.

- Extensive Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience interpreting Engineering drawings and 3D CAD Designs (CATIA).
- Knowledge of thermoset and thermoplastic composite material & processing specifications for Aerospace industry.
- Product development and introduction experience.
- Knowledge of metallic material & processing specifications for Aerospace industry.
