Job Description
We're looking for a hands-on, self-directed Senior Tax and GL Accountant to serve as our internal tax expert. The role involves managing tax compliance, owning annual tax provisioning process, and acting as the primary quality-assurance reviewer for outsourced partners. The schedule requires three days per week in the office and two days remote.

Requirements

  • Coordinate with, provide data to, and quality-check the deliverables of our external tax consulting firms.
  • Learn, manage, and eventually own our annual tax provisioning process (ASC 740).
  • Support overall tax compliance, including estimated tax payments, sales tax processes, and 1099 compliance.
  • Spend roughly 20% of your time assisting the GL team with close activities, journal entries, account reconciliations, and ad-hoc requests.
  • Identify and communicate tax risks and savings opportunities to senior management while streamlining internal GL and tax processes.
