Role OverviewAlluvial Private Wealth is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Associate to join our growing team in a unique, year-round role that brings together tax expertise and financial planning. The role will primarily focus on tax preparation and planning during tax season, and will transition into our wealth management practice outside of peak tax season.
What You Will Do
You will contribute to tax preparation, proactive planning, client service, and accounting support for individuals, small businesses, and nonprofit organizations. Your responsibilities will include preparing tax returns, developing proactive tax planning strategies, and reviewing tax information for accuracy.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field with tax experience, or Enrolled Agent designation
- 3-6 years of public accounting or tax preparation experience
- Experience preparing individual 1040, S Corporation 1120S, Partnership 1065, and Nonprofit 990 tax returns
- Experience with tax planning, not just tax preparation
- Strong communication and client relationship skills with the ability to work directly with clients
- QuickBooks Online experience
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Lacerte Tax Software
