Job Description
We're seeking a Senior Tax Specialist to lead strategy, operational improvements, and input into special filings and key growth projects for Numeral, a leading AI-native tax solution. As a senior member of our team, you'll drive continuous improvements to our tax workflows, guide special filings, and champion automation and AI.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of demonstrated domain expertise in U.S. indirect tax
  • Experience in a startup that scaled and a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with regulatory reporting systems, tools, or platforms used in finance and filings
  • Strong analytical and Excel/data skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Critical thinker with a proactive problem-solving mindset
  • Proven ability to work cross functionally with product and engineering
  • Startup mindset: Not scared of ambiguity and hungry for rapid growth
