Role OverviewThe Senior Tax Specialist leads complex tax compliance activities, manages multi-state tax obligations, and supports tax strategy for a large-size manufacturing facility. This position serves as a subject matter expert for indirect taxes, provides guidance to cross-functional teams, and works independently to ensure compliance, accuracy, and continuous improvement of tax processes.
What You Will Do
Lead the preparation and review of complex tax filings, reconciliations, and manufacturing-specific tax programs. Prepare and file Sales and Use Tax returns and provide guidance to internal stakeholders regarding taxability and applicable requirements.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- 5 to 7+ years of progressive tax experience; manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience with indirect taxes, multi-state tax compliance, and tax audits
- Experience with transfer pricing, withholding tax, and tax accounting preferred
- Advanced knowledge of indirect taxes and multi-state tax requirements
- Strong knowledge of tax compliance, research, and reporting processes
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems
