Role OverviewThe Senior Technical Project Manager develops, proposes, installs, and commissions equipment projects costing between $1 million and $30 million at Mativ's North American locations. The ideal candidate has a mechanical background and broad technical experience, serving as the 'chief engineer' for investment project deployment.

Gain a thorough understanding of the project opportunities and challenges, develop project concepts, perform risk analyses, and use project management tools to effectively and visibly manage progress.

Requirements
- BS in engineering
- 10 years of experience as a lead engineer and project manager
- At least 5 years of experience as a mechanical design engineer
- Experience in developing comprehensive requirements, justification proposals, and metrics
- Experience in utilities, e.g., HVAC, water, gas, electrical, and OT network
- Experience in process measurement, e.g., sample property testing, inline process measurement, and vision inspection
- Experience in procuring machinery with custom PLC programming and safety requirements
- Experience managing general contractors specifying and executing civil and building construction projects
- Strongly preferred to have specified and installed an industrial solvent-based coater
- Deep experience in roll-to-roll web handling, including lamination, slitting, tension control, winding, and roll handling
- Deep experience in industrial web coating technologies and systems: slot die coating, solvent drying and recovery/RTO, corona treatment, and inline gaging/imaging for QC
