Job Description
Role Overview

The candidate will be developed to become a Test Director. The role involves planning, test reporting, and scheduling mission requirements for ground and flight tests. The individual will also become a Unit Test Safety Officer, reviewing, editing, and signing off on flight test safety plans.

What You Will Do

The typical day may include collaborating across a broad spectrum of individuals and disciplines, developing plans for upcoming testing, briefing and conducting ground and flight testing, evaluating test results, and working to resolve any issues encountered.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have significant experience working in control rooms, reviewing test and safety plans, writing test cards, and scheduling range and aircraft assets. A well-established, substantial, professional reputation in one or more of the principal technical disciplines of the company is also required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 5 years of related Test Conductor experience or Master's Degree in Engineering with 2 years of related Test Conductor experience
  • Must possess a well-established, substantial, professional reputation in one or more of the principal technical disciplines of the Company
  • Must demonstrate the ability to direct technical operations personnel in the project
  • Must use excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in day-to-day project activities as well as in briefing customers and in writing reports and proposals
  • Must possess planning/organizing skills and have a working knowledge of computer systems and computer-based engineering tools
