Role Overview

Join Rimkus as a Senior Traffic Engineer - Vehicle Accident Reconstruction, responsible for investigating, analyzing, and reconstructing vehicular collisions. The role involves analyzing work zone traffic control plans, traffic signal timing plans, and traffic control devices, preparing and presenting demonstrative diagrams, charts, and analyses of the relation of the transportation system to the collision, and providing expert testimony in litigation as necessary.

What You Will Do

Reconstructing vehicular collisions using analysis, CAE-based tools, and test data where appropriate, providing collision scene evidence analysis and forensic mapping of collision sites and vehicles, and preparing and presenting demonstrative diagrams and charts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • PE license
  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in engineering preferred
  • Part-time and ex-law enforcement officers with 6+ years of accident reconstruction experience
  • 2-10+ years' experience required
  • PTOE certification preferred
