Role OverviewAs a Senior Underwriting Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the underwriting expertise across the team. This position is responsible for mentoring and developing underwriters, ensuring consistency in underwriting processes, supporting strategic product development, and fostering strong agency relationships.

Your responsibilities will include risk selection and underwriting execution, agency management, training and development, communication, process and operational consistency, and product development collaboration.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- AIS, ASLI and AU designations or completion of other insurance related classes
- A minimum of three years' of experience as a Senior Underwriter in the Excess and Surplus lines
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Strong understanding of the E&S Light Brokerage business environment
- Intermediate to Advanced experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
