Job Description
HDR is seeking a Senior Utility Management Services Lead to help shape how communities manage water for generations to come. The position will serve as a client service manager, project manager, planning and technical resource to regional and national teams, and a leader to develop and implement regional and Water Business Group initiatives.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of management experience in the wastewater, drinking water, or water resources sector, with a particular focus on planning and management services for municipal utilities.
  • Strong technical background and experience in designing, operating, maintaining, and/or managing treatment, collection, and/or distribution systems.
  • Demonstrated business development and strategic planning skills.
  • Good communication and mentoring skills.
  • Proven project leadership, project management (staffing, schedule, and budget), and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with MS Office, MS Project and SharePoint required.
  • Excellent team player with the ability to function effectively in a variety of roles on integrated project teams.
  • Must have the ability to interact with various engineering teams, and have excellent organizational, project management, and communication (both written and verbal) skills.
  • Very strong skills in preparing client presentations, project memoranda, and reports is required.
