At BNY, we're seeking a future team member for the role of Commercial Segment Strategy Senior Vice President to join our Asset Servicing COO Strategy team. This role is located in New York and involves shaping and executing segment strategy, defining clear growth objectives, and building robust business cases to prioritize strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 8+ years in asset servicing, custody, fund administration or a closely related area
  • Proven track record in segment or product strategy development
  • Client‐obsessed orientation strong client‐engagement skills, including the ability to translate feedback into service enhancements
  • Excellent presentation and communication abilities, tailored to both executive and operational audiences
  • Analytical and financial acumen
  • Proficient in financial modeling, forecasting and business‐case development skills
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with data‐analytics tools
  • Cross‐functional leadership & stakeholder management
  • Ability to convene and influence senior stakeholders across Sales, Operations, Product, Risk, Technology and Finance
  • Skilled at running governance forums, driving alignment and ensuring rigorous decision‐making
  • Familiarity with agile project management practices and tools (JIRA, TPro)
