Role OverviewEstablishes operational procedures for warehouse activities, ensures physical condition of warehouse and equipment, and partners with customers to maintain high customer satisfaction. Ensures safe operation of the warehouse, manages budget and P&L, and ensures operational excellence in all warehouse areas. Leads cultural change within facilities and ensures compliance with regulatory certifications.
What You Will Do
Manages the budget and P&L of the operation, ensures payroll integrity, and provides hands-on management of the distribution center. Interviews, hires, and trains supervisory and hourly staff, and appraises performance to create a strong company culture.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Requires 6 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and training. Must be PC literate and proficient with Microsoft Office. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, write reports, and present information to groups of managers, clients, and customers.
