Senior Web and Graphic Designer

BASIS Ed is seeking a highly organized, creative, and user-focused Web and Graphic Designer to join our Design team. The ideal candidate is a designer first and foremost, with a strong focus on web design, digital experiences, and UX/UI best practices.

What You Will Do

Design engaging, user-centered website experiences, landing pages, microsites, and digital marketing assets. Create wireframes, site maps, user flows, mockups, and high-fidelity designs in Figma for developer implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Visual Communications, Digital Media, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 3-5+ years of professional design experience in an agency, in-house, higher education, or related creative environment
• Strong portfolio demonstrating website design, landing page design, digital marketing assets, branding, and traditional graphic design work
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including wireframing, prototyping, component creation, design systems, and high-fidelity web design
• Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Solid understanding of UX/UI principles, responsive design, information architecture, accessibility, and user-centered design best practices
• Experience preparing design files, specifications, and assets for developer handoff
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, visual hierarchy, and branding principles
• Experience designing for both digital and print applications
• Excellent communication, collaboration, organization, and time-management skills
