Role OverviewJoin our team as a skilled welder and play a crucial role in precision manufacturing! In this position, you will utilize advanced electron-beam welding techniques to join parts with exceptional accuracy. You'll also have the opportunity to apply your expertise across a range of welding methods to ensure the integrity and quality of our products.
What You Will Do
Obtains necessary stock, fixtures, tooling and gauging, performs Weld Tech functions, pre and post heat parts for weld operation, apply coating during weld processes, performs necessary polishing on lathe, performs all weld preparation, performs in-process inspection as a certified operator, performs computer transactions, moves parts to, from, within module, cleans machines, general housekeeping, provides direction to Module Support Tech.

Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, preferably technical school background, and demonstration of basic educational competencies (reading, writing).
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
- MIG and/or TIG welding
- Blueprint and routing reading and comprehension
- Competent with hand tools and experienced with weld equipment
- Basic computer skills such as log on, data entry and retrieval
- Able to obtain certifications and qualifications required to perform job
