Senior Windows Client Engineer, Region Services Corporate Infrastructure (RSCI) - VECTOR Team

Region Services Corporate Infrastructure (RSCI) is looking for an experienced Tech Lead; Windows Client Systems Engineer with a deep knowledge of Windows desktop services, including virtual desktops and infrastructure. The mission is to deliver robust, highly available, and easy to use services to internal customers in support of the Amazon Dedicated Cloud for U.S. Government customers.

What You Will Do

Maintain and enhance existing services, including Windows build / deployment capabilities, fulfilling requests for application packaging / deployment and break / fix scenarios for all technologies the team manages. Drive team initiatives across the Vector vertical and across Region Services and partner with Vector Security, Amazon Security, and other AWS internal business units.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or above, or Cloud+ or GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional) or GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials) or SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner)
• 7+ years supporting Windows family of operating systems to include four (4) of the following eight (8) core competencies: AD, DHCP, PowerShell, Email workflow, SCCM, GPO, Win OS, DNS, and disaster recovery/business continuity
• 2+ years of Technical Lead experience, specifically within the Windows Domain
• 3+ years' experience in automation / scripting in the Windows environment using PowerShell
• Experience creating automation tasks such as, software packaging and deployment, automated security patching, and Operating System Deployment.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
