Job Description
AKC is seeking a hands-on, self-starter who is passionate about SEO and content marketing. The SEO Manager will provide the strategy, technical expertise, and execution required to deliver strong search engine rankings for AKC's digital properties.

Requirements

  • Day-to-day execution of organic search engine optimization
  • Manage most aspects of SEO projects
  • Work closely and partner with internal and external teams
  • Perform ongoing keyword research and competitive analysis
  • Understand, recommend, and implement technical SEO audits and changes
  • Provide on-page optimization recommendations for metadata, headings, internal links, and URLs
  • Implement necessary features and changes to continue winning at SEO as search engine algorithms evolve
  • Recommend additions to the content production calendar by contributing data-driven suggestions for topics/keywords and supporting the content team on SEO
  • Devise and execute methods to track, report, analyze, and improve SEO performance
  • Collaborate with in-house marketing teams on marketing priorities as they relate to SEO
  • Present and communicate SEO strategies and projects to internal stakeholders
  • Serve as the key SEO expert/advocate for the enterprise
  • Keep up-to-date with all the latest SEO best practices, strategies, and algorithm changes
