Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Modernization Expert to migrate mainframe applications and databases to cloud-hosted, modernized solutions. The role involves deep expertise in mainframe systems, tools for conversion, and understanding of cloud environments, Java-based solutions. The expert will analyze and design migration strategies, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.

Requirements

Analyze legacy mainframe systems (COBOL, DB2, stored procedures, BMS Maps, JCL)
Migrate or redesign user interface components
Translate and optimize batch processing components
Design and execute a migration strategy
Utilize modernization and code conversion tools
Convert or rewrite mainframe DB2 for z/OS
Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Leverage cloud platform knowledge (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Ensure application performance and optimization in the cloud
