Role Overview

The Service Dispatcher is responsible for receiving customers' calls and dispatching fuel service technicians. This critical role coordinates with various departments to understand and respond to customer requests. Service dispatchers must remain calm under pressure, prioritize requests, communicate effectively, and dispatch fuel technicians for response/repairs.

What You Will Do

Use excellent communication skills and professionalism to receive calls, discuss customer needs, obtain relevant information, and dispatch service technicians for response and resolution. Capture data in real time for service calls and communicate to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • High school Diploma or GED required
  • Some work experience in a dispatching role preferred
  • Ability to speak on the telephone or two-way radio using the English language
  • Ability to type 45 words per minute
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as warranty requirements and client specific billing requirements
  • Ability to read and write routine reports and correspondence using the English language
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, both whole numbers and fractions
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must be able to meet company's employment requirements, which includes passing a drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR, if driving for the company
