Role Overview

The Service Dispatcher is responsible for receiving customers' calls and dispatching fuel service technicians. This critical role coordinates with various departments to understand and respond to customer requests, requiring excellent communication skills and professionalism.

What You Will Do

The Service Dispatcher will receive calls, discuss customer needs, obtain relevant information, and dispatch service technicians for response and resolution. They will also capture data in real-time, communicate with stakeholders, and coordinate with customers on schedules and service needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Some work experience in a dispatching role
  • Ability to speak on the telephone or two-way radio using the English language
  • Ability to type 45 words per minute
  • Ability to read and interpret documents
  • Ability to read and write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers and fractions
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must be able to meet company's employment requirements
