As a Technical Liaison between Cummins field service and Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing, this role focuses on identifying, defining, and prioritizing product issues, implementing solutions, and supporting high-quality repair events. The role involves technical troubleshooting, data analysis, process improvement, and customer interaction to reduce downtime and enhance customer satisfaction. This is an excellent opportunity for a technical service engineer to contribute to product reliability and efficient service channels.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Systems Engineering, or related field
  • 2 years of experience as a Service, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineer
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Systems Engineering and 5 years of experience as a Service, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineer
  • Experience with 7 step problem solving approach and product development roadmap
  • Experience with failure analysis and data trends
  • Experience with field investigation and support
  • Experience with technical service information
  • Experience with Product Serviceability Requirements and Review
  • Experience with Product Failure Reporting and Corrective/Preventive Action Systems
  • Experience with design, develop and validate diagnostics
  • Experience with technical customer management
