Role Overview

As a Service Operations Technician 2, you will be responsible for performing skilled technical maintenance, repair, and testing on complex digital and analog electronic components, electrical and electro-mechanical components, cable assemblies, sub-assemblies, assemblies, field replaceable units (FRU) and systems to support a wide variety of Robotic Systems. You will regularly use diagnostic software for localizing equipment and system problems, specialized testing equipment, analyzers, digital oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, clocks, timers, calipers, voltmeters, power supplies, rulers, and other test equipment as required.

What You Will Do

Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include analyzing wiring diagrams, schematics, assembly drawings, fab drawings, mechanical component drawings to conduct repair and testing of FRUs, performing repair of complex electro-mechanical assemblies per applicable work Instructions, and participating in investigational teams for FRU's to provide input if required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma and AA or equivalent
  • 1-2 years related experience or training
  • Ability to read, write and understand English
  • Ability to do basic math
  • Ability to apply logical understanding to carry out instructions
  • Proficient in use of personal computers as part of daily work, including knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and SAP ERP System
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical internal customers
  • Acute attention to detail; excellent organizational skills
  • High level of professional integrity and ethics
  • Ability to work varying shifts
  • Ability to complete training courses
  • Ability to work in a team environment
