Role OverviewThe Service Order Project Manager (SOM) will have overall responsibility for developing and executing repair projects. The role involves planning, researching, and coordinating project activities to ensure service order and project objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
What You Will Do
The SOM will develop Scope of Work (SOW), request proposals and quotes, establish work plans and staffing requirements, lead preconstruction meetings, and conduct price negotiations with contractors.

Requirements
- High school diploma/GED or higher education
- Valid driver's license
- 5+ years of experience in health care construction, renovation, and maintenance and repair project management
- Working experience with NFPA, EPA, TJC, OSHA codes and standards
- Experienced in using Microsoft Office programs
- Excellent communication skills and a sense of urgency to meet deadlines
- Strong ability to plan, organize and direct associates to meet goals and objectives
- Progressive operations management and construction experience in the healthcare contracting industry
- Strong organizational skills
- Good computer literacy
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of P&Ls and budgets
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
