Role Overview

The Service Technician will perform superior quality repairs to customer equipment and make recommendations for further services. The role involves working in a physically demanding environment, standing for six to eight hours per shift, and using hand and power tools. The Technician will be part of a team that values teamwork, customer service, training, and personal development.

What You Will Do

The primary responsibilities of the Service Technician include receiving repair order assignments, following instructions, and executing work assignments thoroughly and efficiently. The Technician will also maintain a superior standard of workmanship, advise the Shop Foreman of recommended changes, and determine if further repairs or servicing are needed.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in medium and/or heavy truck repair and maintenance, with outstanding mechanical aptitude and skills. The role requires excellent organization and communication skills, and the ability to read, write, and comprehend English instructions and information.

Requirements
