Role OverviewThe primary function of the Journeyman Service Technician is to perform superior quality repairs to customer equipment and make recommendations for further services as determined by the Technician during service. This role is part of a team that proudly holds PremierCare Gold certification, demonstrating a commitment to providing superior customer care. The team is based in Rock Springs, WY.
What You Will Do
The Service Technician Journeyman will receive repair order assignments, follow instructions, and execute work assignments in repair order thoroughly and efficiently. They will maintain a superior standard of workmanship in all services performed, advise Shop Foreman of any recommended changes in services ordered by the customer, and determine if any further repairs or servicing should be recommended to the customer.

The ideal candidate will have five years of experience as a heavy-duty truck repair technician with an emphasis on engine repair, a working knowledge of all heavy truck repair methods, and excellent organization and communication skills. They will be able to read, write, and comprehend English instructions and information, and have a valid Commercial Driver's License preferred and a good driving record.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English instructions and information
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Five years of experience as a heavy-duty truck repair technician with an emphasis on engine repair
- Working knowledge of all heavy truck repair methods
- Ability to operate power and hand tools and other equipment safely
- Working knowledge of P/C and Computers
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Valid Commercial Driver's License preferred and good driving record
