Role OverviewThis Service Technician role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial cooking kitchen equipment, refrigeration, and HVAC. The role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently. The technician will be responsible for maintaining service vehicles, tools, and uniforms, and meeting on-call requirements.
What You Will Do
The primary responsibilities of this role include diagnosing and repairing equipment, communicating with customers and the branch office, and auditing truck stock to ensure required parts are stocked.
Why It Might Be a Fit
To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. A journeyman license and CFESA certification are not required but would be a plus.
Requirements
- Three years experience in commercial kitchen cooking, refrigeration, and/or HVAC repair
- High school graduate/GED or the equivalent in experience
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot: automotive, electrical, installation, and mechanical background is a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and soft skills
- Good driving record
