Role OverviewThe Service Technician is responsible for working on various vending/fountain equipment. The role involves performing mechanical service, installing mechanical components, customer interaction, inventory control, and maintaining a company vehicle. The technician will work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to read, write, and speak English. The role requires regular and prompt attendance, ability to maintain a neat professional appearance, and ability to maintain safety and security of company assets.
What You Will Do
Performing mechanical service on cold drink equipment, installing mechanical components, customer interaction, inventory control, and maintaining a company vehicle. The technician will also perform cross-training and appropriate duties as assigned by management.

Requirements
- Minimum age 18 years old
- Valid driver's license required
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
- Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
- Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
- One-year certificate from college or technical school; or 24 to 48 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- A minimum of 2-4 years knowledge of Cold Drink Equipment or appliance repair needed
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, repair manuals, and use a Multi-Meter
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required
- Basic Equipment Service Training (BEST)/ Automated Beverage System (ABS)/ Advanced ABS/ Hot Beverage and Coca-Cola Freestyle (CCFS) training with a passing mark through approved Coca-Cola North America (CCNA) instructor
- Refrigeration Certification Type 1 required
- Knowledge of electrical theory and practical applications
- Ability to analyze and problem solve to respond and resolve any customer issues
- Ability to work with all functional team members
- Microsoft Excel knowledge preferred
- Use hand and power tools
