Role OverviewThe Service Technician assists in the assembly, installation, maintenance, and inspection of American Vulkan Corporation (AVC) products at customer sites and within the facility. This position requires a hands-on mechanical aptitude, attention to safety, and the ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
What You Will Do
Apply applications, products, and engineering systems and tools to set up, test, adjust, and install American Vulkan Corporation AVC products. Prepare, assemble, and install AVC products at customer's site. Perform precision machining, fitting, and repair of metal components in field environments.
Why It Might Be a Fit
This position requires strong time management and organizational skills, attention to safety, and the ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus, and manual machining experience is a plus.
Requirements
- Heavy Industrial, Mining, Power Plant or Marine field service experience required
- Minimum one year of vocational training in related field
- Valid Passport and Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) (or able to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
- Must agree to (and pass) a background check, physical, and drug screening testing
