Role Overview

As a Set-up Operator II, you will be responsible for setting up and programming operating machines, overseeing the ramp up of machines, and supporting operators in operating the machines. You will also be responsible for maintenance, repair, and inspection of machines, as well as following documented procedures and processes. This role requires good visual acuity, the ability to lift medium-heavy objects, and the ability to operate medium-complex machinery.

What You Will Do

Your key responsibilities will include setting up and programming operating machines, checking finished products for approval, and following all safety and production rules. You will also be responsible for supporting maintenance and repair of machines, as well as inspecting and identifying defects.

Why It Might Be a Fit

This role is suitable for individuals with a high school diploma or GED equivalent, who are able to use instruments for measuring and identify defects. You should be able to follow written and verbal instructions, write clear communications in English, and operate medium-complex machinery. Experience working with power tools and reading blueprints is also preferred.
