Role OverviewInstalls and removes molds and lines/fixtures for molding machines. Maintains the condition of the molds and molding equipment.
What You Will Do
Follows set procedures for removing molds from machines, installing molds into machines, cleaning and repairing molding nozzles, wiring heater bands together, and transporting molds in the facility.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have experience changing molds in plastics machines, torch experience, and bench grinder experience. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. is required.
Requirements
- Forklift certification
- Crane certification
- Authorized lockout/tag out certification
- Hand and power tool training for use of torch and various hand tools
- Previous experience changing molds in plastics machines helpful
- Torch experience preferred
- Bench grinder experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
