Job Description
Perform manual work of limited complexity and assist in the performance of semi-skilled or skilled tasks, including street resurfacing, digging ditches, pruning shrubs, maintaining pipelines, valves, hydrants, and manholes, and performing simple construction jobs.

Requirements

  • Completion of a recognized apprenticeship in the craft or equivalent training at an accredited trade or technical school, or military training preferred.
  • Ability to work all shifts
  • Ability to understand and follow simple oral instructions
  • Ability to use appropriate tools and equipment
  • Physical capability to perform physical work outdoors in all weather
  • Ability to work with and around chemicals
  • Ability to work in confined spaces may be required
