Role OverviewSemi-skilled manual labor in the construction, maintenance, and repair of Utilities Sewer Collection Distribution system.
What You Will Do
Assist crew members in installing, repairing and maintaining of utility lines, perform utilities line spotting, locating and referencing, and assist in constructing, repairing, and maintaining manholes.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Ability to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods, knowledge of tools, methods and materials utilized in the repair of public utilities collection and transmission systems, and ability to recognize safety hazards in work.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or an acceptable equivalency diploma (GED)
- Possession and maintenance of a valid State of Florida Driver's License upon hire with eligibility based upon evaluation of a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) driving report
- Highly Desirable: At least 3 months of utility construction experience
- Possession and maintenance of a valid State of Florida Class A Commercial Driver's Permit within 9 months of employment
