Role OverviewAs a Transportation Security Officer, you will provide security and protection of air travelers, airports, and aircraft in a courteous and professional manner. You will use diverse, cutting-edge electronic detection and imaging equipment to identify dangerous objects in baggage, cargo, and on passengers.
What You Will Do
You will perform tasks such as pat down searches, operation of x-ray machines, baggage screening, and ticket review. You will also be required to pass a background investigation, a drug screening, and a medical evaluation.
Why It Might Be a Fit
This role requires a US citizen with a high school diploma or G.E.D., proficiency in the English language, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. You must also be able to pass a background investigation and a drug screening.
