Job Description
A New Leaf is seeking a Shelter Advocate to provide direct support to individuals and families escaping domestic violence. The ideal candidate is empathetic, patient, and dedicated to advocacy for survivors of domestic violence.

Requirements

  • High School or GED required
  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
  • Experience working with domestic violence, homeless or economically disadvantaged population, preferred.
  • Knowledge of and/or experience with trauma informed practices required.
  • Knowledge of community resources.
  • Verbally bilingual in Spanish, preferred
