Role Overview

The Shift Detention Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a professional and open means of communication with ICE management, conducting entry inspections, and providing reports on incidents. They supervise shift operations, ensuring officers are performing duties in accordance with post orders, and oversee all counts. The supervisor must be familiar with all areas of the buildings and surrounding grounds to respond quickly to routine and emergency calls.

What You Will Do

The Shift Detention Supervisor will conduct employee/Detainee injury investigations, review Record of Presence, conduct daily equipment inventory, and perform all designated guard functions. They will also be responsible for supervising the Officers on shift, ensuring they are performing duties in accordance with company policy, ICE Policy, PBNDS, PREA, and Facility SOP.

The ideal candidate will have 10 years' experience as a detention/corrections operations Supervisor of equal or lower rank and/or SNCO or Commission with Honorable Discharge. They must be able to communicate clearly both orally and in writing, have computer skills, and obtain and maintain PSU Clearance.

Requirements

  • 10 years' experience as a detention/corrections operations Supervisor of equal or lower rank and/or SNCO or Commission with Honorable Discharge
  • Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing
  • Computer skills including proficiency in various Microsoft Office Suite programs
  • Obtain and Maintain PSU Clearance
  • Ability to meet Physical Requirements as required by contract
  • Preferred bachelor's degree in related field
  • Must be able to work rotating shifts
