Role OverviewA Shift Engineer will be responsible for general maintenance and repairs in guest room, meeting space, and front of the house areas, as well as back of the house areas including kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems. The role requires a minimum of three years building maintenance experience, with hotel experience preferred.
What You Will Do
Perform preventive maintenance on major equipment and systems, using a windows-based computer system. Read blue prints and schematics, and have basic trouble-shooting skills.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Good communication skills are necessary, and the ability to tolerate moderate amounts of walking, stand for upwards of 8 hours, and lift, push, and pull moderate amounts of weight is required.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years building maintenance experience
- Hotel experience preferred
- One year of mechanical experience
- Refined communication skills
- Ability to read blue prints and schematics
- Basic trouble-shooting skills
