Job Description
Thompson Palm Springs is recruiting for an experienced Shift Engineer (PM) to perform general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting spaces, and back of house areas. The role involves preventive maintenance on major equipment and systems, using a windows-based computer system, and requires a minimum of three years of building maintenance experience, preferably in a hotel setting.

Requirements

  • General maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting spaces, and back of house areas
  • Preventive maintenance on major equipment and systems
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics
  • Basic trouble-shooting skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances
  • Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight (about 50 pounds)
  • Able to multitask and prioritize assignments
