Role OverviewThe ideal candidate will lead operations for the Ladle Refining area of the Steelmaking Team on Shift, including managing the team of Ladle Metallurgy operators at the refining stations, and the Ladle Wall operators that prepare the steel ladles, to meet the business goals of ArcelorMittal Calvert.
What You Will Do
Supervises and directs operations personnel on the specific duties to be accomplished each day, enforces company policies, and performs the shift turnover with the previous and following shifts.

Requirements
- Minimum of High school diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and/or 4 years of military leadership experience and/or 4 years of progressive leadership experience in a Steelmaking
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Steelmaking (Melting, Refining, Casting)
- Computer proficiency to include Microsoft Office
- Advanced process control knowledge
- Dayforce and/or SAP experience preferred
