Role OverviewThe Shift Mechanic will perform electrical and mechanical repairs on various equipment, diagnose and repair faulty production and related plant equipment, and maintain a safe work environment.
What You Will Do
Maintain equipment, diagnose and repair faults, and perform work in a safe manner. The Shift Mechanic will also be responsible for keeping accurate records of work performed and maintaining a clean work environment.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have strong industrial mechanical and electrical background, formal training, and experience with theory and reading of schematics. They should also have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work independently.
Requirements
- Electrical Apprenticeship or equivalent certification or experience
- Manufacturing experience
- Good math, reading, and writing skills
- Powered Industrial Truck Certificate
- Lockout/Tagout Certification
