Role OverviewThe Shift Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Store Leadership Team in the absence of a manager on the sales floor. The Shift Supervisor represents the brand, operates in a professional manner, engages customers, maintains store standards, and supports teamwork.
What You Will Do
The Shift Supervisor's primary duties consist of supervising store staff, ensuring the highest level of customer engagement, and selling. The Shift Supervisor assists with managing company standards of merchandise presentations, signage, and displays, and escalates performance concerns to the Store Manager.

The ideal candidate is able to lift large and heavy packages and boxes rapidly and constantly, and has the ability to safely lift 50 lbs. without restrictions. The candidate must also be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time and use caution when dealing with difficult customers.
Requirements
- Ability to lift large and heavy packages and boxes rapidly and constantly
- Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. without restrictions
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to use and climb ladders and/or step stools
- Ability to perform repetitive motions (i.e. hanging, folding, ringing up customers, etc.)
- Ability to use caution when dealing with difficult customers, houseless and/or transients and avoid confrontations
- Ability to make change using American Monetary units
- Ability to carry out detailed tasks and projects with minimal direction or supervision
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive working relationships
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- At least 1 year of key holder experience in a retail setting preferred
