Role OverviewThe Shift Supervisor will oversee a departmental shift, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping. They will direct supervision of molding operators, technicians, and utility personnel, and maintain a safe work environment.
What You Will Do
The Shift Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring production meets quality standards, maintaining production schedules, and accurately reporting production, scrap, and labor each shift.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in injection molding, and 2+ years of supervisory experience. They will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong critical thinking skills, and use data to drive decision-making.
Requirements
- 4yr degree preferred
- At least 5yrs of experience in manufacturing (injection molding preferred)
- At least 2yrs experience is a supervisory or management role
- Knowledge of financial concepts related to Manufacturing (absorption, budgeting, etc.)
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Must be able to coordinate resources to get the job done
- Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
- Must be able to work with Autonomy
- Positive, Can-Do Attitude
- Demonstrate strong critical thinking skills and ability to use data to drive decision making
